On this April day, the next version of MiMiMi Framework was released. It includes a new demo called Static Pages Only. This is a web app for creating a regular website yourself. It includes built-in components for the administrator: a fully functional HTML editor, familiar to many webmasters as CKEditor 5, and a second component is a simple, custom-designed WYSIWYG block builder. The HTML editor is used for easily editing pages like a regular post, if you plan to manage a blog-style website where the page structure is always the same and block-by-block construction isn't necessary. The WYSIWYG builder is used for creating landing pages or corporate websites where you need the ability to assemble static pages using a set of predefined blocks. The app doesn't have an admin panel as such. Its frontend simply displays additional pages and associated administrative links if the logged-in user is an administrator. The admin panel's design and functionality are minimal, and there are only five types of additional pages: Settings, Pages, Styles, Fragments, BBcodes. In addition, all editable pages support the following set of administrative functions: Add, Copy, Edit (or Construct), Delete, Markup (that is, Edit as HTML code), Download, Upload. The WYSIWYG constructor responds to the following events: 1. dragging a sliced block onto the page above or below the highlighted element; 2. clicking on a page element to make it active; 3. Shift+Up/Down keys to change the active element to the top or bottom using the keyboard; 4. Ctrl+Up/Down keys to move the active page element up or down using the keyboard (dragging is not yet supported in this version); 5. Ctrl+Enter keys or double-clicking to edit the active page element as HTML code; 6. Ctrl+MouseClick to edit the text of the clicked element only. The app also has three implicit pages: Home Page (tentatively called Welcome), Table of Contents, and Credits. By default, they contain the markup from the demo. However, their content can be edited by the administrator as desired.
