A new version of MiMiMi Framework, version 7.1, has been released. In addition to planned improvements, this version also includes a demo called IDE Skeleton. This demo shows the skeleton of an integrated development environment. Its functionality and interface have the following features: 1. A menu with drop-down levels. You can add your own modules there. In this case, by module we mean a handler for a menu item or node. 2. A toolbar. Its icons typically simply replicate menu items. However, you can add any other modules to the toolbar if desired. 3. A widget panel. It also has its own set of modules. Currently, it only contains the "Recycle Bin" module, designed for dragging deleted project files to the trash. 4. A central area for the file editor. And a status bar. 5. An API. It also supports its own modules. Of course, this functionality is only a tenth of what typical IDEs contain. However, the goal was to show that a simple system running directly on the web is not that difficult to program.
